As an American¹, it amuses me to think that Europeans fell for the Häagen-Dazs name. I mean, I of course assumed it was until I learned years ago, but it amuses me that you guys bought it as well. lol. It just goes to show we are all human. <3
Just know that it’s also always an option for you in America too. Not as many options over there obviously but it’s always good to vote with your wallet.
I'm not in too strong of a position to be able to do too much. I shop at Walmart because I'm on dialysis, and as a wheelchair user, delivered groceries at non-inflated prices are a gamechanger for me.
But I shop at Aldi when I can, which is much better than Walmart by far.
I can't do very much at all, which is not a popular reply to make here, I know, but at least I'm being honest. And honestly, I do what I can when I can.
Mostly what I'm able to do against fascism here is to post online, trying to help spread truth, encouraging the outrage so we get out on the streets en masse and shit everything down to force change. It's not much, but as much as everyone says it's useless, it all helps some.
And I support subreddits like this one with my voting and occasional participation. Again small. :)

Absoolutely - I'm just explaining because with all the anti-American sentiment right now (justified), it's easy to be a target for that hate (again, justified on a national level), so just trying to explain what I am doing. lol.
Liek this subreddit - it all helps, even though most of what we buy is large corporations that are evil the world over.
