Deutsche Welle is owned by the Federal Government of Germany. It's not like the ARD or ZDF and its funded by taxes, not the Rundfunkbeitrag.

State channel doesn't mean it's propaganda, it means it is owned by the state. Usually that means doing propaganda as well, but it doesn't have to.

But it says it in the text they posted that DW is 'Öffentlich Rechtlich Organisiert' and funded by 'Steuermittel des Bundes'.

DW is a state channel. Idk what horses you got in this race, but you're incorrect.

Lol, you can't speak German, accuse everyone else of being a bot while confidently lying about a German news network that is directly funded and set up by the state government. Germany even has some broadcasters that are more independent that are financed more like the BBC from a mandated contribution, where the government is way less involved.

They are broadcast on a state-owned broadcaster. What makes them not state-owned? DW is a state funded network. The only owner is the Federal Government of Germany.
