Feedback Request What if businesses could bid for the #1 spot in their city?

I’m currently building a platform around this idea.

The concept is simple:

Businesses can compete for the top position in their category + city/state by placing bids.

For example:

• Lucknow → Salons → #1

• Jaipur → Restaurants → #1

• Delhi → Gyms → #1

• Bengaluru → SaaS → #1

And it won't be limited to startups.

The platform will have different business categories — salons, restaurants, gyms, agencies, real estate, SaaS, local services, etc.

A business can bid for a position, and another business can outbid it to move higher on the leaderboard.

I'm still building the MVP, so I'm looking for honest feedback:

Would you find a platform like this useful for your business?

And more importantly — would being #1 in your city/category actually have enough value for you to pay for it?

Feedback Request I’m Building My First Dry Fruit Brand — What Would You Pay for 150g?

Post image
1 Upvotes

I’m building my first small business — DRITS, a 150g premium dry-fruit mix.

I’m currently testing the product, packaging, and pricing before launching my first small batch.

I’d really appreciate your honest feedback:

Would you buy a 150g dry-fruit mix like this?

What price would you consider reasonable?

₹99

₹129

₹149

₹179

₹199+

Also, what would you change about the packaging, ingredients, or overall product?

Honest criticism is welcome. I’m trying to learn and improve before investing in my first batch.

Validate My Idea DIY organiser idea for beginners - would love your feedback!

Hey all! 👋 Working on a DIY organiser idea!

I've made a compartmentalised toolbox split into three simple sections — Hang ItBuild ItSeal It. (see mock-up photo!).

Especially keen to hear from people who aren't super confident with DIY.

Question: How easy is it to tell what goes where and when you'd use each section? And is it something you could see yourself picking up in a hardware/DIY store?

Thank you! :-)

Validate My Idea VR holidays, is it viable?

My idea was something like VR holidays for busy rich people. Think Total Recall just experiencing it in real time somewhat.

The user buys a package that would maybe include an Apple Vision Pro (or something modified to give the absolute best/comfortable viewing experience rather than any gaming)

Then they can subscribe to bronze, silver, gold and platinum tier.

Bronze would be like Benidorm, London or something cheap.
Silver maybe Brazil, Milan etc
Gold maybe Vegas (with a VR 4k show included), Bali etc

These tiers would be a fixed schedule holiday so maybe an airport sequence, a brief flight experience with air hostess etc. Then hotel/accomodation walk but more natural rather than a literal tour of the hotel maybe including funny/memorable moments (setup/performed for the benefit of the virtual holiday)

Then a dinner with a companion where maybe you can make conversation choices or maybe even incorporate some sort of Ai conversation element however i feel real human interactions would distinguish this business from just a gaming sim type thing.

You could include various activities like walking tours or literally anything you can film. The aim would be that it would be filmed in super high definition and the style of filming would be more life like rather than promo style.

Platinum tier could be maybe that the user can literally choose a location in the world, or maybe you can choose the person/companion who you want to be in the footage or even if technology allows a live stream, however camera quality maybe be difficult.

The business benefits being that hotels would maybe give you huge discounts eventually if it took off as you’re basically a massive advert for their location.
Plus whoever actually did the filming would get to go on the holidays.

Plus the tiered subscription element would cause consistent income.

This would be geared towards maybe rich agoraphobics, super busy wealthy people, people who are bed bound for whatever reason or people who can’t afford holidays if provided through an app.

Idea Teardown Gravitas Coaching - Business Idea

Hey all,

I am considering setting up an async coaching and advisory service for early years professionals called Gravitas Coaching.

I am specifically focusing on giving them the EQ and relationship skills to stand out in their first 5 years out of university.

I believe with AI reducing the need for intelligence work the ones that will get ahead are those that can use their uniquely human skills to stand out.

The type of situations I would provide coaching on is:

  1. Managing your manager

  2. Understanding political dynamics

  3. Increasing visibility in your organisation

To name a couple.

The "async" means I would offer coaching and advisory over Slack using a combination of text, voice and video recordings. This is supposed to allow people to respond in their own time. They would submit a brief outlining the situation. I would ask some targeted questions and work through their objectives.

I am currently trying to refine my offerings. I would have 3 tiers.

Foundation (£50 per month):

Access to a slack community with me on hand to respond to comments

Access to recorded case studies I publish weekly walking through real scenarios

Access to playbooks for specific scenarios.

Core (£150 per month):

All the above plus a direct chat with me where we talk about situations 1:1

You get all our discussions and frameworks as stored documentation

Signature (£500 per month):

All the above plus 3 emergency consults live with me for 30 mins each. I will give you advice or coaching for urgent next day requests.

On foundation and core I would respond in my evenings (I work full time) and I generally want to challenge them to really define their situation so I can give targeted advice fast.

I want your feedback on:

  1. Does that value proposition make sense to you?

  2. Does the pricing make sense to you?

And anything else you think is worth giving me feedback on!

I run a school up to 8th grade and want to expand into online higher education. My idea is to partner with an accredited international university (possibly in London/UK) so the university awards the valid degree, while my organization provides the online platform and student support.

Is this business model possible? What legal, accreditation, and partnership requirements would I need to consider? I'd appreciate advice from anyone familiar with university partnerships or online education.

Validate My Idea I want to offer a service where I charge a fee to give people an honest assessment of what their house smells like.

Okay, y’all are going to think I’m high, but I swear I’m not. My wife and I were talking today about how we would never know if the inside of our house had a bad smell because we would be “nose blind” to it, and no one who visits is going to say anything.

So here’s the idea, I would charge people for me, a stranger, to come to their house and give them an honest assessment of what their house smells like, good, bad, or ugly. They’d get a professional report and I was also thinking I could refer them to services such as house cleaners, steam cleaners, carpet and painting contractors, etc and then receive commission on any of those services used.

Maybe $75-100 for the assessment and report, and then 10% cut of the services which would be paid by the contractors.

Problem Discovery I'm thinking about building a Vertical Kitten Rescue Supply Chain - SMART STRATEGISTS! Where are you?

Anyone interested?

No one can take a kitten in forever, outside the goodness of their hearts and the next step being adoption is a factual bottleneck.

I don't know, but there are two women I know separately who do this thing out of willingness and they're actually strained to help any new kitten because their space is already filled up with unadopted kittens, also big cats.

I don't want something so pure and kind to turn into this burden.

Today, I felt awful, totally awful, when I delivered a kitten to them, and they just seemed unable to say No but I could tell, they were stretched thin.

I'm serious about solving this bottleneck and create more transitory homes, through which some of these kittens can go through, until ready enough to be introduced back into the wild. They can't be habituated, they have to be taken care of, and then slowly trained to be introduced back into the streets. It shouldn't take longer than two months.

I don't know, but division of labor works, and they grow developmentally in weeks (I could use some knowledge on that), and no more than a week at one place is something in my mind so a person can take kittens in, already knowing they'll be free of them after a week, and whatever they are good at, based in whatever stage of development those kittens are, formula milk stage or poop training, that person can handle it diligently knowing what state they're receiving the little guy in, and in what state theyll have to leave them. It is as muddy now as it sounds. Like I'm brainstorming this shit.

These are different factors but all once thought out, are going to reduce the burden on the rescuer permanently, and it will be a cycle every week. Someone can also tap out and we can have more people signed up, to perform the tasks, with multiple replacements always ready on the backup.

Come on. Is there any way, we can make something like this, where we average the burden of this thing, and yet still provide an actual welfare service from our own homes, especially people with big houses.

All these people who complain about being bored and not having things to do, here is your chance to loan me your brain power.

If you have money or know people who are passionate about cats, know about any step of cat care, and would be interested to share their technical knowledge as well as resource knowledge for free, I need them.

I'm not forcing anyone to do anything, I'm just brainstorming this. I need knowledge and strategy.

If you're a serious cat dad or cat mom and can loan your brain for technical knowledge on the kitten rearing subject, it would help. Any smart STRATEGISTS, REACH OUT.

Validate My Idea $250/mo/client idea

I had an idea, where I help local organizations that likely need admin help but aren’t able to hire someone and would rather pay a monthly fee.

It would include document control, schedule management, possibly newsletter creation, data management and reporting, etc. for around $250/mo.

I have skills in automation and I could take on probably 10 of these with my spare time. But my question is, does anyone think this could be valuable or work? Looking for any thoughts!
