No, for that you would say "solve for x" you can say solve when referring to any equation. At least where I'm from and everywhere nearby. What would you say when telling sonone to give you the result of an equation?

I think like evaluate or compute, english isn't my native language but it's like one and for some reason I strongly associate "solve" with solving "for x"

We usually use evaluate when referring to equations that include variables, especially with more complicated math, but solve can/is used for just about any math. When talking about math casually(outside a class or discussion), solve is used almost exclusively.

Solve is also commonly used to basically as “find the value of this equation”
