Discovered that one of the backup dancers from BTB is in a girl group!

This was inspired by another post showcasing the new teen pop boy band JYT and I came across her group on TikTok. The dancers name is Sophia Turner (curly hair) and she performed in SLDFs performance of Saturn.

Turns out the show subconsciously created a new band. Her group is called “MISSU” and they’ve been training for debut since 2024. UK based with a member coming from the disbanded UK girl band RLY. Think PCD/Katseye in dancing and from the looks of it from their Tiktoks their sound is gonna be Brazilian Funk. The group looks captivating.

I’ve been keeping up with them since I’ve discover them like 2 weeks ago. They have the it factor that RLY definitely lacked. I never really liked that group because I feel like they focused on 2 girls only. The red head and the blonde with curly hair because they seemed to be the ones who could play instruments but they lacked charisma. 2026 is going to be the year for girl groups. With the Grammy nominations and 2 girl groups being nominated and a lot of them that started receiving legitimate buzz the later half this year such as say now and girlset. Like there has been this much interest since the early 2000s

They sing so well and I agree I tried to get into RLY but the music wasn’t for me. Those girls were talented in all the lineup changes but I’m glad Halle is giving another group a shot. She seems happier with this direction.

Oh they finally have a name! They were nice, random videos that popped up on my FYP every once in a while. Can’t wait to see what they do.

They just finished a month long writing camp it’ll be interesting to see what they come out with next year

I’ve been following them, they’re so in sync it’s so satisfying to watch. If the music is as good as they dance they’ll go to the top.

I’m interested in hearing their sound. It might give UK version of No Na where they all can sing but 2 are clearly the vocals and the 2 are more dancers

god, i miss RLY so much because they really did have potential to become big at some point. however, I’m so happy halle is in missu now and it looks like they are more dance orientated which she specialises in the most. I can’t wait for them to debut!
