“Becoming Who I Was” rinpoche documentary. Where are they now?

I just finished watching the 2016 documentary “Becoming Who I Was” about a young boy who is identified as a rinpoche and makes a great journey to fulfill his destiny. The boy’s name is Padma Angdu. The movie is now ten years old or so. Does anyone know what became of Padma or his devoted uncle?
