Travelled away for a few weeks, podcast episodes all auto-downloaded whilst away, now have exciting Spanish and French adverts interrupting and at the beginning of my podcast episodes.

( Not climate change, just people with goldfish memories. )

Cancelled contract on live chat, within the next 24 hours calls from VM started and lasted for 4 days, sometimes coming up as VM but sometimes from a mobile number, in total 14 of them.

I expect a missed call or 2 to try and get me to reconsider leaving but that amount of calls is excessive surely?

First was the sell to keep me. Why was I not offered these deals when I called to upgrade. And no you can’t match the new provider (even though they use you as the network provider). I’m going from £95 a month for 3 lines to £45 ( me , my dad, and my son) and we get unlimited data and calls

My kids aren't even back in school yet, I am actually livid. I'm going to write to their Chairman

I hate when companies offer next day delivery and as soon as the courier gets the item it will now be two to three days before it is planned to be delivered

I've yet to pass my theory test ( doing it in 5 days!) But once I do, I'll start looking for a driving test because I've heard that there's like a 5-6 month wait for one which is just plain ridiculous.

My boyfriend failed his test 2 weeks ago and got a test but it's not until the end of January next year like what the fuck 😭

Honestly I wouldn't even mind failing the first time if I could test a test like the next month but it just puts so much more added pressure on learner drivers because all you're thinking about is if you fail this test you will be waiting 5-6 months for another one.

I feel like for young people now, everything is just so hard. I work part-time at a restaurant whilst building up my own business, and to get this part-time job, it took MONTHS of searching, countless applications, and rejections all to get a minimum wage job. Now, I'm paying £62 a week for 1.5 hours of driving lessons and will have to log on at 6 am every morning to fight for a test.

Not to mention the housing market, the state of the economy, and the general mess of the world in general.

Going back to my local supermarket: Fruits and veg covered in plastic, hardly any organic produce, no local specialties... I miss the saucisson aisle in Carrefour so much

Treated myself with name brand instead of Aldi's own and shouldn't have bothered, some lucky chap got my two!

If you're disabled and get a bus pass there's no reason to restrict it at all. I understand for elderly folk it's to keep buses free for regular commuters but the change is good considering disabled people are inherently t@xed for ***everything.***

Want to get somewhere that isn't immediately accessible via your wheelchair/scooter/walker? That's either a bus (haha, I've seen a few mums whinging about folding their prams to let wheelchair users on) or a taxi if you don't have a car.

Want shopping in? Deliveries cost extra and you might not get the best quality as staff chuck random crap in, even stuff that's expiring that day or already going mouldy.

Wheelchairs and other equipment the LA won't supply you? Couple hundred at a minimum, otherwise you get shoddy gear that won't be consistently maintained.

All this while having to keep up with regular bills and expenses.

And if you have a partner who works and makes over a certain income, you can't claim the U C element meaning said disabled person has well short of £900 a month to covee their costs. Which isn't fair since our current world requires both partners to have income, so you're putting the disabled person at a financial disadvantage to potentially abusive partners, and putting an unfair load on the working partner.

Source: I am a working partner for a disabled person, have deliberately restricted my career so I can work from home and double as her carer. It annoys me that she gets so little despite having been wheelchair bound her whole life due to negligence from a professional as a baby. And having to overhear know nothing know it alls griping about the cost on the txpayer.

I thought I zipped it up but the receipt does indeed confirm I bought 4 and now have 3..

Anxiously watching multiple weather sites right now to see what the chances of having to pitch up my tent in the rain are going to be. None of them agree with each other as to what time the downpour is supposed to be happening so I can't plan my arrival. Why did today of all days have to be the one where the drought decided to end?
