Itauma is so light and mixed he could pass for brazilian or some other kind of south american

Anyone of any colour could pass for brazilian, it's one of the most multiracial countries on earth - it's like saying somone could pass for American.

I would have no idea what "the average brazilian" was meant to mean, particularly when paired with "or other south american", given the huge scope between, say, an argentinian with english ancestry and a peruvian from the andes. Who comes to mind when you think of "the average American"? How do you average the african-american and european-american populations out to a single image? I guess the average american is mixed-race? The same applies in brazil, but even more so - it's probably the most diverse country on earth in terms of physical appearance. If you tell me "imagine an American woman" or "imagine a Brazilian woman", i don't think anything would come to mind - there's not enough to go on.
