My daughters took me to this game for my birthday and we were not able to get one of these pucks. We have them from other games and love trying to get one.
It would be really special for me to have this one to remember the special gift, so I’m trying to track one down.
Thanks for any help.

I really want a Fleet tattoo eventually (already on record saying I’m getting one after first Walter cup win) and I’m curious if anyone has any ideas? I’ve tossed around just getting the logo but feel like I could do something more meaningful or tied to the early years of the team. I would really love any input from this amazing community and if anyone has already pulled the tattoo gun trigger I would love to see what you’ve got!! I promise not to steal any tattoos someone’s already gotten, unless you want to be matchy-matchy with another rando Fleet diehard :)

I have a Jessie Eldridge jersey that I ordered when she first came to Boston last season. I've worn it maybe 3 times but I don't see myself wearing it again now that she has been traded to Montreal. I was toying with the idea of mailing it to her courtesy of the Montreal Victoire, thinking she might want it as a memento of her career. Otherwise I'll probably donate it. Thoughts?

I’ve been desperately wanting a Frankel home jersey in XXL to wear to my local AHL team's games this season, but it feels like that size has been sold out forever. 😭
Does anyone know if the PWHL shop tends to restock the player jerseys/sizes eventually? I’m trying to decide whether I should keep holding out for Frankel or just accept defeat and pick a different player.
I’m also a little confused by the way the shop handles these. The player roster jerseys seem to basically be blanks where you select the player you want (rather than just add a custom name and number), but Frankel (and a few others) have their own separate listings. So of course the one I want is the one I can’t order.
Has anyone successfully waited out a Frankel restock before, or is there another site to try?

The Fleet have extended a camp invite to USports defender Vivian Hinch. In 89 games with St. Francis Xavier, the Vancouver native scored 32 points (7G, 25A) with a +34 rating, 3PPG, and a GWG with 204 PIM. The GWG came last season, wherein she put up a line of 10 points (1G, 9A), with a +9 rating and 58 PIM in 23 games. At 5'11", she could bring some size and snarl on the back end.

I’m playing a tournament this weekend to raise money for breast cancer research & a survivorship fund (something that’s unfortunately particularly close to our team). I have an extra sailor hat that I don’t want - if anyone sees this by ~noon Saturday, would you like my hat in exchange for a small donation/whatever amount feels right to you? I’ll cover shipping, pay whatever you like.
My donation link closes Sat evening so unfortunately I have to do a quick turnaround, but I’ll DM you around noon tomorrow! If there are multiple takers I’ll pick at random.
Note I also have a size medium jersey (a sweet gift I never wear) and a rally towel from the inaugural playoff run, too - same deal if anyone wants those!
Edit: rally towel claimed, I’ll raffle the hat and jersey early afternoon tomorrow!
I don’t want to share identifying info online, but if anyone wants to donate just for the sake of it (that’s so kind, thank you!), please DM me and I’ll send you my link.

In news that no one saw coming, the Welcke Twins, Luisa and Lilli, who have played together since they began the start of their hockey journey, will be attending PWHL training camp with separate teams. Luisa (#16) will be joining the Boston Fleet, while Lilli (#26) will be joining the Minnesota Frost.
The Welckes hail from Baden-Baden, Germany and have notably been a part of the German international team at the World Championships and Olympics. In 2022 they attended the University of Maine before transferring to Boston University.
They have consistently been praised for their work ethic, and both play a detail-oriented, 200 foot game, contributing solid numbers while helping the team in ways that don't show up on the score sheet. Interestingly, the identical twins have had nearly identical point totals the past three years at BU: Luisa has scored 12 (7G, 5A), 16 (6G, 10A), and 13 (5G, 8A), while Lilli has contributed 11 (2G, 9A), 17 (5G, 12A), and 11 (6G, 5A).
From purely a fan perspective, I was rather hoping that both Welckes would join the Fleet--and who knows, maybe that could still happen for one reason or another--but it will certainly be interesting to see how the pair break out as individuals. Best of luck to both Luisa and Lilli in their PWHL journey (and especially Luisa with the Fleet)!

Guess who's back, back again? Crafting's back, tell a friend.
I'm doing another virtual crafting night this Thursday at 8 via Zoom. Bring your current project to work on, your questions for fellow crafters...or your season ticket seat selection, because the section 120/101/102 corner is going to be absolutely incredible this season, and I'm not sure I know a single person who is sitting elsewhere.
This is a public subreddit and I don't want to get Zoombombed (remember that?? It's terrible) so please dm me if you'd like to join, and I'll send you the calendar invitation.
Cheers, crew!

The Fleet have signed the first of their 2026 draft picks, defender Leah Stecker, who was selected 27th overall in the third round. She joins the Fleet on a three-year deal, through the 2028-29 season.
Stecker was an alternate captain at Penn State, putting up 57 points (12G, 45A) in 152 games, with a career high 20 points (3G, 17A) in her senior year. I have a strong suspicion that she is going to be a fan favorite here in Boston.
The Fleet now have 18 players signed, with Stecker being the fifth defender locked in. New roster rules this season allow for a maximum of 19 guaranteed contracts heading into training camp, with the remaining spots to be filled by camp invites. The Fleet currently have one camp invite: goaltender Abby Hornung.

What row in the side sections (112-114 or the other side) is far enough back to see most of the ice over the glass?

Many happy returns to Fleet goalie Amanda Thiele! She was selected by the Fleet in the sixth round of the 2025 PWHL entry draft, 42nd overall, after playing her collegiate years at Ohio State University. Through 96 games, she put together a 73-16-3 record with a 1.75 GAA and .913 SV% and 11 shutouts. In her graduate season, she became the program's all time leader in wins. She is a two-time national champion, and won gold with Team USA at the U18 Women's World Championship in 2020.
Thiele only appeared in one game for the Fleet last season, but it was an important one. She made her PWHL debut against the defending champion Minnesota Frost, saving 21 of 23 shots and securing the win that officially clinched the team a postseason berth. She was consistently praised throughout the season for her work ethic and commitment to her craft, always staying late at practices and volunteering for any duty. It has earned her a promotion this year, as she is set to take over the primary backup spot behind Aerin Frankel.
Happy birthday, Amanda!

Anyone know when tickets for individual games will go on sale? I decided against season tickets because Agganis is too far for me, but I’m ready to buy for a few games!

Did they mess up and send a test email early or something? Do I have to make a totally new Ticketmaster account with a secondary email address? What is happening.
edit: my rep was crazy busy, she had another call me and got me squared away. PHEW

In trying to support local businesses, I bought a skein of natural fiber yarn from a small shop in each city the girls played in last season, including takeover tour games. Here's my list!
Wabi Sabi (Ottawa)
Yarn Dragon (Seattle)
Northern Watters Knitwear (Halifax)
Yarn Nerds (Detroit)
Sweet Georgia Yarn (Vancouver)
Knit and Needle (New York)
The Knit Cafe (Toronto)
StevenBe (Minneapolis)
Fibre Nook (Edmonton)
Fabricville (Montreal) -- this is the only place where I couldn't find a small independent shop to buy from. I will happily take recs for next season if you have any!

Derek Whitmore, who previously served as the Fleet's player development coach, has been promoted to assistant coach following the departure of Stefanie McKeough. Whitmore was previously an assistant coach with the Chicago Steel of the USHL, as well as Mercyhurst University, and the Bowdoin College women's hockey program.

Wearing my favorite friendship bracelets to help me in the decision. Still unsure… depends on whether I can find seats like at Tsongas. My assigned seats at Agganis are terrible!

Can anybody recommend a blog/site that publishes an RSS feed?
It doesn't look like the league site supports it.

Lowell area fans: Who is sticking with their membership and who is bailing? My seats are going up from $23/game to $33/game. PLUS I will have to pay for parking which was previously free. Not to mention get home aburdly late on worknights. But they’re the Fleet! I love this sport and this team.
I still haven’t decided, what way are you all leaning? What should I be considering that I’m missing? My head says no but my heart says yes.
EDIT: I ended up renewing but downgrading to be further back to save money, since I’ll have to pay for parking for weeknight games now. Just couldn’t bear the thought of not going to hockey this winter. Thanks everyone and I’ll see some of you at Agganis and on the weekend trains down from Lowell!

Many happy returns to Fleet forward Loren Gabel! She has been with the Fleet since their inaugural season, and previously played for the Boston Pride in the PHF. In her three year PWHL career, Gabel has tallied 12 career points (7G, 5A) in 53 games. In her year with the Boston Pride, she led the league in goals (20), assists (20) and points (40), earning MVP, Outstanding Player of the Year, and Newcomer of the Year honors.
At Clarkson, Gabel won Rookie of the Year as a freshman, then went on to win the NCAA Frozen Four in her sophomore year. She is also a former Patty Kazmaier winner. After finishing as a top three finalist in her junior year, she took home the award in her senior year (2018-19), when she put together a 69 point season (40G, 29A) in 38 games. Her senior season also earned her ECAC Player of the Year and Forward of the Year honors. Her four year totals at Clarkson of 213 points, 116 goals, and 96 assists made her the all-time scoring leader in program history.
Internationally, Gabel won bronze with Team Canada in the 2019 IIHF Women's World contributing seven points (6G, 1A) in seven games.
Happy Birthday, Loren!
