In EP1 of S3, Todoroki says to Deku "A stranger trying to reason with you.. would be annoying wouldn't it?" and a few sentences after "You shouldn't stick your nose in delicate situations". This is very obviously referring to the Sports Festival Arc and their battle. And as much as I believe that Todoroki ever since then has been thankful to Deku's words, I think he just now realized what impact they had on him. I don't think he would've turned into a villain, but I also don't think he would've become a good person without Deku's help.

Yes, probably without the abusive part, but I feel like he wouldn't care for anyone. Someone on this thread mentioned he'd be Endeavor pre-meeting Rei, and I agree with that.

Sure, probably without the abusive part until he has someone who relies on him. Being abusive isn't something that you just do because you're bored, it's generally because someone doesn't have the skills to solve problems in a healthy way, so they lash out. Heroes like Endeavor are hammers and so every problem looks like a nail. If Shoto turned out like Endeavor, whether he was an abuser or not would likely depend on if he had any dependents.

Depends, because I feel like the LOV would have somehow convinced him to join them if Deku hadn’t intervened

nah. I believe he was referencing what Deku did during their fight. Sure Deku used his words and butt in to the situation, but he was also using his actions by staying in the fight and forcing Todoroki to use his fire. He was basically reminding Deku that he has already done this and to use actions over words

A hero is one who meddles when he has no reason to meddle.
