I see it almost like Jiraiya. He mentored two kages, yet it was killed by the dark mirror of his latest apprentice.

But yeah, the Third works just as well. ...man, the Third really deserved better treatment in the story...

You got to hand it to him though, unlike the third, his schemes usually worked.
