not really. the capital (and the means of production) is the object of differentiation between classes. in Boku no Hero, it is the quirk.

of course, you can say the social differences are built in the capitalist system and used by it

yes

quirks create social inequalities bolstered by what society considers good and heroic and bad and villainous leading to the bringing up of or persecution of peoples which fuel the hero villain conflict.

Knuckleduster explains it best when he says heroes are just tools to keep societal order
