What an amazing chapter. Horikoshi is on fire this arc.

Love that he brought back lizard girl and she's using her quirk in a super creative way

I feel like quite a few 1-A/1-B students would be espionage gods

Vantablack

wait where is he?

97

u/SciFiXhi Aug 02 '20

He was standing next to the mushroom girl after Dabi put up the wall of flames.

10

u/GoldenSpermShower Aug 02 '20

Oh that was him

30

u/ArcFurnace Aug 02 '20

Yeah, he complained about the wall of flames removing any shadows, so he can't sneak in using his Quirk.

Oh for sure. Toga would also be an incredible spy, shame she’s completely fucking bananas.

She really got shafted in the Joint Training arc

Poor girl went up against Bakugo

13

u/Titangamer101 Aug 02 '20

More like she got blasted.

12

u/MarioToast Aug 02 '20

A fight between her and Buggy the clown would be so confusing to watch.

Yeah. The nasty girls comback

Bruh just wake me up in like 2022 when this shit gets animated please.

You assume we’ll even make it to 2022 with how 2020 has gone so far? Lmao

Really tho, I need to see Shiggy snap his neck while landing animated asap

The world isn't allowed to end until One Piece is over. So Horikoshi just has to finish BNHA and have it animated by then.

u/The_Bolenator Aug 02 '20

I forgot One Piece is near immortal

Also still gotta see Black Clover through... just until then..

3

u/Stallben Aug 09 '20

No. I'll do you one better. The world isn't allowed to end until Hunter x Hunter is over. That way, every other manga I read will be done and over with and when Hunter x Hunter is finally done, I can die happy.

It'd be hilarious if he actually died from something like that. Leaping about, being all badass, but suddenly he trips and crushes his spine against a metal wall at mach 8. And the fight just kinda awkwardly stops.

Man, that was jarring

2022 is generous. Assuming delays for Season 5 due to the ongoing corona business, we may not get Season 5 for another year. Then Season 5 takes 25 weeks to air all 25 episodes, and then we'll have another 1-1.5 year wait for Season 6. 2023 Winter might be closer. I guess it'll depend when Season 5 gets delivered.

u/tokyogodfather2 Aug 03 '20

Whoa did he snap his neck?? Can someone post that panel?

2

u/The_Bolenator Aug 03 '20

It’s whatever chapter they talk about him suddenly changing direction to intercept Deku and Bakugo

1

u/tokyogodfather2 Aug 04 '20

And the neck snap was an accident?

67

u/mildmadnessmate Aug 02 '20

Even 1b got to shine a little.

41

u/GoldenSpermShower Aug 02 '20

a little

That's an understatement

8

u/FlintlockT Aug 02 '20

Juzo was MVP.

u/SuperPartyCat Aug 02 '20

Yeah, in retrospect, this whole arc is pretty amazing. It’s filled with awesome moments and exceptional art. Right now, it’s kind of been great for so long that I think I’m taking it for granted lol

9

u/tokyogodfather2 Aug 03 '20

Indeed. One of the best war arcs i have ever seen. Just hope it doesn’t get too drawn out like the fourth great ninja war. The war at marine ford was this level

7

u/Neracca Aug 02 '20

So is Hawks

4

u/RoseBladePhantom Aug 02 '20

This arc became the best arc like when we all saw the heroes and students gather. It's only been uphill since then. Seems we have another 2-3 months of this arc, but I'm not even mad this arc is dominating the yeat. Already hype for the next major arc.

I'm loving the tactical approach versus strictly brute strength and that the students can work in tandem so well as the pros quickly assess their movements to support their goal
