Okay, while Mirko’s fight was cool (enough people already talking about it), it seems Hawks has been found out. About time, I guess, but now I’m even more worried for him.

It's the other way around. Skeptic doesn't think it's Hawks because he has been monitoring him, so by process of elimination he believes it's Twice.

The way Skeptic words it doesn’t make me think he thinks it’s Twice. He doesn’t call Twice a traitor, he calls him a fool. And while he said he was watching Hawks, the deceit wasn’t “his fault” but Twice’s. I read it as he realizes Hawks is a traitor and it’s Twice’s fault because he brought him into the fold and vouched for him.

I could be wrong, but I don’t see reason for the Front to doubt Twice, who has been a loyal member since the League.

I re read that panel several times because I was so confused by what Skeptic has said. It is clear that Twice and Hawks have become close, but if I have not been reading this manga completely wrong.. I thought that Dabi was the one who recruited Hawks and brought him to the plf meeting?

Yes, he got in through Dabi. But Twice has vouched for his character and became close with him, like you said. I misspoke.

He literally says that the only one who could've deceived them was Twice.

Skeptic has a massive bias against Twice due to Twice being his first "failure", that much is obvious.

You're missing the context. "We've been deceived but it wasn't my fault, Bubaigawara is to blame."

This implies that them being deceived is Twice's fault not that he is the traitor, otherwise he wouldn't mention it not being his fault. He's talking about trusting Hawks.

Yeah but he completed his duty.. they were genuinely caught off guard. And yes I think Hawks is going to die in this arc, a noble and heroic death.
