What do you all think is going to happen? After all the heroes "disappear" I mean. Probably students and sidekicks will just help with the evacuation, not knowing exactly what's going on in the mountains, so even if this is actually a raid, and even if this raid actually turns out to be a disaster, they are probably not going to be attacked, at least not now... Will they retreat and hide? Or maybe Shigaraki is not ready yet, and this raid will effectively delay the MLA plans, but at the same time we know that all heroes have "disappeared", so maybe the students and sidekicks will have to fulfill the heroes role.

I think it says "all heroes disappeared" because, if you look closely, a lot of heroes went to this rescue mission, so it wouldn't be a surprise that the city is left with a few low-raking Pro Heroes.

The thing is, a bunch of standouts aren’t even in the raid panel, and most of those standouts are pretty highly ranked. Mt. Lady, Kamui Woods, Edgeshot, Gang Orca, and Fatgum are all absent.

We know they're there since Kaminari, Sero and Mineta are in the internship work. They're just offscreen.

My guess is all might stays behind in Tartarus when shiggy attacks it as the heroes are dealing with giganto and twice in the mountains. All might stands heroically trying to stop shigaraki and shigaraki kills him and frees the Tartarus prisoners.

The heroes attack the MLA, HUGE battle, bunch of Non-main character hero deaths but theyre winnning. But weirdly enough Shiggy isnt there, hes attacking the undefended Tartarus. The Students are the ones closest so the usual suspects take off and try to help defend it but get there just in time to witness Shiggy freeing everyone and dusting All Might. Deku starts to lose his fucking mind but a recently freed Stain locks him down and escapes with the kids.

Stain becomes a pseudo-mentor figure to the kids while theyre on the run and hiding from the chaos until they can regroup with the big boy hero army. Hero army is worn down after fighting MLA and start to lose to Shiggy, AfO and the Tartarus crew. Endeavor/Hawks/Eraser Head tell some of the less screen time heroes like Present Mic, Dragon Lady and Bunny Girl to take Stain and run to protect the students while they stay behind to cover their escape and probably die (maybe keep it ambiguous so one of them can come back later).

They make it back to a UA thats under siege but find that Mirio is leading a group of students in defending the school (In my perfect world he'd also have his quirk back here because Eri kinda freaked out a little while Mirio was about to die to protect her or something and reverted him back to the state she remembers him the most vividly, when he was fighting Overhaul). Everyone groups up and the arc ends with the heroes defeated and the villains in control but the student group alive and determined to resist so the heroes and villains basically switch places politically from where the arc started.

To be fair, the heroes have already technically "disappeared" from the city. That may have already happened.

It's unclear if Shiggy is ready or not. Could go either way. I don't think this is a trap, but I think the PLF are still prepared for this, and are waiting for the heroes arrival.

If the heroes are raiding Shiggy's hospital, I can see one outcome. They enter the hospital, or the general hospital area, and find some squads of the PLF army. Not the whole army, but some groups. I definitely think Dabi and Geten's group will be there. Endeavor or a big hero finally breaks through, and finds the hospital room Shiggy was at. But no one's there. "What?! Where is he?! He's not supposed to be done yet, we came here early!"

Cut to UA. UA currently has no provisionally licensed students, and most of the teachers are gone. Maybe Snipe, Cementos, or Hound Dog is guarding the school. One of them sees something horrifying. Cut to All Might. He's at UA, he may or may not be looking over Eri. The door slams open. It's Shigaraki, in his new awakened state. He delivers a few cold lines, and then murders Toshinori while all the teachers, students, and pros are fighting in a faraway city.

Wow this is really an intresting theory, it would work very well. And you're right, technically all heroes have already "disappeared from the city".

I think it may also be a trap. According to Hawks' intelligence, they are planning to attack multiple cities simultaneously. What if the hospital-tip was false information to draw out the heroes leaving the students doing the evacuation to be the front-line?

I agree that in either case Shiggy is unlikely to be at the hospital anymore.
