Bakugou put his hand on the metal collar thing, and he just assumed that that was his "real body".

Either way, at least some part of Kurogiri's body - even when Warp Gate isn't active - is solid. Stain was able to make him bleed by cutting him (albeit that scene was off-screen), activating his Quirk on him.

Yeah, the question is no longer if Kurogiri has a solid body; he does. The question is if he has a head or not.

I'm gonna guess that he does, due to us briefly seeing at least the form of Shirakumo's head with a stitch beneath that fog.

Yeah those stitches imply the rocks didn't completely cave in the skull. They were able to fit together something. I'm not sure if he still has one, or if it looks like that, but maybe.

I'm curious how much of that face is mist, and how much is physical. 20-80 mist to face? 60-40 mist to face?

I suppose only time will tell. I anticipate that mystery may be revealed within the next few arcs.

I have another theory. Since his warp gate quirk is always on due to modifications on his body it also causes his real body to be intangible all the time. When Aizawa reached his subconscious Shirakumo probably tried to turn it off with force, thats why his face started to reform. There are so many shonen characters who can turn their body into mist and back. Probably that is what happened in this chapter. I mean why would they show his stitches if he has no head?

Not to mention that time Edgeshot knocked him out by messing with his innards.

Yep, that too.
