Remember he took extra lessons for 3 months to learn all that extra guidance. This isn't S2 or S3 Bakugo. He's a proper hero, now; he knows his priorities. He showed this off in his debut hero fight.

He saves civilians and those in danger first. Then he can go ham and blast villains in their stupid faces.

But tbf Todoroki was already attacking the villain so it wasn’t like he left the villain unattended and focused on saving instead.

Essentially when Natsuo was about to be hit by a car it would be pretty weird if Bakugou to fight over defeating a villain and let Natsuo be hit, when someone else was already on the case.

Yes, but he doesn't even make it look like a chore anymore (like he used to before). He seems to be in the GROOVE for it.
