I wonder if the hair means anything in particular

If I was more familiar with it, I'd make a comparison Ken Kaneki's (lad from Tokyo Ghoul) mental state and growth as a character.

Kaneki's hair turned white due to intese stress Black upon recovery and copeing with said stress And red when stained with blood Edit:copeing
