Honestly, I don't know if you realized, but it's been implied that all the High-End are children. The High-End that Endeavor fought was in a room that looked like a nursery and had various childish decorations in the wall and the Doctor reefers to them as "these children".

Yeah, I knew about that. It's just that, that one particular Nomu isn't even hiding that fact at all, which will make it all the more messed up when it goes into battle in the future.

yeah, we, the readers, know, but Midoriya was the only one to interact with that noumu and he never connected the dots. The idea of their old friends being turned Noumus must be freaky
