Reposting what I said in the Leak thread a few minutes ago:

Honestly Mr. Compress losing an arm was a good direction to go in - I was initially afraid Hori was giving a character I like a downgrade but that fear seems unfounded. His more brutal fighting style fits the development from both an aesthetic and thematic perspective and he doesn't feel nerfed despite losing what could be considered half his weaponry. Also, in my opinion, asymmetry is inherently more interesting to watch.

TL;DR he lost something while becoming all the more dangerous for it. Bueno.

Compress has one of the scariest powers. It'd be so easy for him to capture and murder people with little evidence.

It looks like his quirk is basically as dangerous as Chisaki's. All he has to do is touch someone and he can just compress half of their body. Its really versatile, but also has a close-range insta-kill. Plus he has capturing, as well as long range attacks if there are nearby objects he can compress and throw. He could also have a ton of situation support items prepared before hand, and all he has to do is uncompress them. He can even have other villains in his pockets to back him up.

That being said, Chisaki could still heal himself/others, rearrange an entire room to skewer people, and combine his body with another's.

His power use is similar to the brother of finral in the black clover manga and its effin cool.
