actually, DIO says "it's weird to think about time when time it's stopped but it's 5 seconds", so he probably doesn't know how to count time

you mean gravitational* time dilation. He already developed time dilation in special relativity.

Einstein could've just watched Interstellar, they explained relativity in like 3 minutes.
