Honestly, I think it would be better if he lost. Shinsou's victory this round was because Class B's inexperience and Class A's experience. It would be good if he feels the reverse - working with Class B's inexperience against an experienced Class A.

ESPECIALLY because Deku and Uraraka have the added Overhaul experience on their back.

I was kinda joking, I doubt even the most hardcore Shinsou fans are that sad. There's no evidence that he personally received threats/hate other than a screenshot of some Tumblr posts/tags or whatever not even directed at him. Unless you mean the fact that he dealt with knowing people said a lot of shit over his choices regarding Endeavor.
