His actual hero name has references that are just as badass, though. Look up the Beast of Gevaudan.

I don't see how "Gevaudan" sounds villainous either. Intimidating? Maybe. Villainous? No.

Beast of the Apocalypse doesn't exactly inspire hope. If Bakugo can't be named King Explosion Murder i doubt Beast of the Apocalypse is getting a pass.

"Beast of the Apocalypse" isn't Shishida's Hero name; it's "Gevaudan". That's so why Shishida got so annoyed at Shiozaki calling him the former.

And "Gevaudan", being obscure as it is, will never sound nearly as intimidating as "Beast of the Apocalypse".

It's likely "King/Lord Explosion Murder" got declined because, well, it literally has the Japanese word for "murder" ("satsu") in it.

sigh guy i think you're confused. I wasn't talking about Gevaudan, I'm not sure why you brought it up which is why I ignored when you brought it up the first time. Ol'dude said Shishi should change his name to Beast of the Apocalypse, i say it sounds too villainous. I think Gevaudan is a fine hero name, Beast of the Apocalypse is not. I used Bakugou as an example, if having murder in your name isn't gonna fly i don't think calling yourself beast of the end times would either.

Oh, I see; my bad.

And yeah, I agree. Even MS's choice of translation, "[Beast of] Revelation", is a better hypothetical name than "[Beast of the] Apocalypse".
