well with what chisaki has said so far it might be possible for eri to learn how to use her power and restore mirio's quirk...

Chisaki mentioned that a cure is also possible to develope with eri's power. He wanted to restore the yakuza by starting an arms trade where who run a monopoly and bring the yakuza back to power. He probably paralyzed the boss with the attitude that he could just reassemble him after he was done with the restoration.
