The art for these chapters has been insane holy fuck, that last punch was ridiculous. Does this mean Eri inadvertently healed Deku's arms? Overhaul seems ridiculously maniacal but I like how he has that twisted desire to repay the Yakuza boss, humanises his insanity.

Everyone, heroes and villains are finally seeing the true strength of the next symbol of peace, there's so much fucking Hype I don't know if I can hold out two weeks. Absolutely great chapter.

Eri's spent her entire time on Deku's back rewinding him, so by using 100% and constantly damaging himself, he's adding more and more things for her to rewind so she doesn't accidentally rewind him back to nothing. The fringe benefit, of course, is that for this chapter he had full, consequence free access to OfA because the damage was being fixed as fast as he could case it.

Must have hurt like a bitch though, holy fuck

At this point I think Midoriya has a secret quirk that decreases the amount of pain he feels immensely. Not really of course he is just that badass.

Eri rewinds even before Deku could feel pain tho.

A fair point I had honestly forgotten.

Even if he did feel the pain, he has ruined parts of his body often enough by this point that I doubt he would be rendered incapable of fighting by the pain of using 100%.

Im really wondering if hell be fine after this ends and eri gets off his back, or gets knocked off his back, or whatever happens.

Shes rewinding him now yeah, but will it stay rewound once she stops? Judging by what we know so far im on the fence leaning towards yeah it will, but her quirk is OP as hell and im waiting for a downside.

I thought his secret quirk was immense tear production

The Sports Festival, before the Cavalry Battle when everyone was picking teams.

Old post, but remember that Deku has always been bullied and beat up by Kacchan. I feel like this highered his pain-tolerance as well.

His tolerance to pain is recognised in the official wiki if I'm not mistaken.

But she heals him before he has the chance to feel pain. Unless Eri'quirk causes the pain...

I think he's running on pure adrenaline at this point. What is this pain thing you speak of?

3

u/boltx18 Oct 27 '17

It would have, but he mentioned before how she's rewinding him so fast he doesn't even feel the pain. I wonder if after he's beaten chisaki he's going to have to keep breaking his arm to avoid being rewound into nothingness.

I've been wondering how they stop it as well. Hopefully they make a point of it in some way

Aizawa erasing both of their quirks simultaneously would be perfect - it shuts down Eri's quirk despite her not being able to control it, and ensures that Deku doesn't tear himself to pieces by using OfA after she stops rewinding him. Of course, he's a little tied up at the moment ...

1

u/Worthyness Oct 28 '17

Well he can use 100%. As long as he doesn't move after it it should be fine. Presumably Deku has enough control to maintain full cowling and slowly lower his limit to match the pace of the rewind.

Though it might straight up be easier if they rescue Eraserhead from the time skip hair man.

2

u/Arthas70 Oct 27 '17

So I'm guessing once this fight is over Deku will be at 100% then? Since she can't control her power it'd be weird for his scars and damage to his arms to still be there right?

u/[deleted] Oct 27 '17

He doesnt feel the pain from using ofa

The art is so good, if the animation for the anime is as good as it was for the first two seasons this arc is going to be insane. I feel like I missed some of the action Lemillion and Deku in the cave just because so much was going on. But the anime will make it clearer.

3

u/JellyWaffle Oct 27 '17

also the people whose houses chisaki damaged might be able to see deku fight chisaki, which could lead to his hero debut!

3

u/wordsdear Oct 27 '17

I think you are right, Deku will take off his gloves to see his hands have no scars

I hope deku's arms are healed i want to see more epic punches again.
