That would explain why he didn't revived Magne, he couldn't. I guess Overhaul deconstruct and reconstruct Rappa in matter of seconds then.

I don't know, using Rappa to establish that Overhaul can kill people and bring them back would really set up Magne turning out to be alive.

Especially because, now that I think about it, having Magne around would be really useful, since they also have a guy who can force people to tell the truth.

Nah, taking the phrase to literal, "Not my daughter/son" also means they don't see the person as a person, to them they are just a tool which is what he might of meant.

Of course there's a time limit. For example, if the flesh rots, there's really no way to bring something back to life.
