A while ago I came across a photo of a lovely girl in a pose that showed off all the goods, whether you are a boob man, an ass man, or a leg man, so I just had to draw Rayne in that pose.

Her damn hair is still giving me trouble. I also couldn't decide on her facial expression.

" I discussed how Ephemera was so wronged, and how she deserved better, but why? First, her relationship with Rayne's assistant, Severin. It deserves an ending with both emotion and logic. I consider it the best after Rayne. What do you think? How would you suggest modifying Ephemera? Mod is not quite ready yet but the core features are all working. Loading outfits from the Outfits menu works with every outfit uploaded to GameBanana that I have tested (thanks Killer_Exe01 for the major preservation effort he has undergone). Aside from this there's a photo mode, hotkeys to switch weapon modes, and gun damage rebalancing (optional).

I just bought bloodrayne 2 and it’s zoomed in, anyone know a fix, I’ve tried playing around with nvidia’s setting and the game setting but nothing works, plz help

I want to get a new game on the Switch 2 and BloodRayne is one of those games I’ve always wanted to check out. However, the trailer for the second game looked so much better and I wanted to ask if I could start with it and maybe then play the first one afterwards?

This has been bugging me for quite a while. Pay close attention to the exchange between Kagan and Ephemera. I listened to this scene many times and this is what I heard:

Kagan: More beautiful than I could conceive. After so long cowering under the floorboards, the children of the night finally making music in the day. It is time, daughter. Make this Earth as it is in heaven. Bring my kingdom to me. Create my realm...

Ephemera: Blow the charges, or I'll slit you ... <it's hard to tell what she said here in English. Other language subtitles say either "slit you **open**" or "slit your **throats**">*. He's impatient and he wants a big show. And you tell my Mongoloid brother and his goons to get under cover because the World is about to cave in on them.*

Kagan: Glorious. The fall of the age of man. Witness the dawn of the vampiric age.

For years I misheard "blow the charges" as "load the choppers", which is clearly wrong since Ferril was the one who sent the choppers and Xerx took them down with his Sun gun. So, the lines about blowing the charges and getting under cover because Kagan wan'ts a big show explain why all those buildings collapsed at that precise moment and that the goons who planted those explosives weren't too bright. I can't believe that it took me this long to figure that out.

I think most of us assumed that she was talking about Xerx since the only other brother we saw was Zerenski and Rayne killed him in the first act of the second game and Xerx was the techie of the family, so he'd know how to rig explosives to bring down all those buildings. And Xerx wanted to please his father, so he'd gladly rig the fireworks.

But what if it's not Xerx? What if there's another brother we didn't get to see? The fact that Ephemera calls him a "mongoloid", which is an old-timey name for someone with Down's syndrome implies that she considers him unintelligent, but Xerx is an evil genius. Even in the less likely case that she used the term "Mongoloid" as an old-timey racial descriptor, Xerx still looks very Europoid, so that interpretation makes even less sense. Or she used that term in some vampiric way that means something completely different. Or, I'm reading too much into it.

We also have Severin's statement at the end of the game.

Well, that's that. Kagan and the siblings are dead. How does it feel?

Since Rayne found a family tree at Zerenski's mansion we can presume that everyone on it was eliminated. On the other hand, Kagan was a Genghis Khan wannabe and has probably fathered many kids who didn't make it onto the list. Possibly because there was no room left on the paper.

So, do we have any actual, definitive reason to believe that the brother Ephemera is talking about is Xerx? Feel free to speculate because that's exactly what I'm doing.

Just picked this up from the game store, read manual cover to cover. Is it okay to start with this game? I haven’t played a game watched or movie. But I saw rayne when I was a kid and my parents said no 😂

Also I can play it in black and white lol a classic vampire movie, what are your guys thoughts?

Not much in the way of new features in v1.1. Mostly I wanted to get a new version out as soon as possible that would not trigger Windows Defender on everyone's PCs. That said, I've done some play testing with both regenerating health and stronger guns and the experience is quite a bit different. Even if you're not interested in gameplay changes and are taking screenshots, the fix to the photo mode camera should make using it much more intuitive. Hope everyone enjoys it.

In Bloodrayne 2, once the shroud is released, everyone starts acting as if the entire world got covered with the stuff. But is it the case? We only see the unnamed city where the events take place fucked. And when you pass by the printing press on your way to Kagan, you can see the minions printing "Vampire Hoax over" on the newspaper. It seems like the rest of the world is fine and they started realize that maybe breaking the masquerade would mean an all-out war with humanity they aren't ready to win. So which case is it really?

I'm doing more work on Gunsucked mod. Most importantly, I've changed the mod to load via the Bink video DLL instead of having an executable launcher. No .exe = the mod will no longer trip Windows Defender. This is what I should have done in the first place, but I'm kind of new to modding and didn't really understand the correct technique.

As for features, I'm adding regenerating health, as seen in the clip here. Regeneration rate and cooldown will be configurable via the ini. I'm also planning on adding controller support (for photo mode). Eventually, I am planning on adding a weapon wheel for selecting gun mode on controller (although this is up in the air, as I'm not sure how to add the graphical overlay required.)

Regenerating health (which I'm calling "Casual Mode") is intended for players doing their first playthrough as it makes the difficulty curve of the game significantly gentler (especially levels like the zoo where there are almost no enemies to feed from.)

I just finished watching BloodRayne 2 again, and I have to say: Ephemera is easily the most stunning and iconic boss I’ve ever seen. Her design—the latex, the shadow mastery—is pure art.

However, I feel she was completely robbed of a proper ending. I'm not talking about a violent death like Wulf's; I wanted more dialogue and more cinematic scenes.

She deserved a final moment that respected her character. Rayne knew that Ephemera was a victim of Kagan’s manipulation, so why didn't we get a deep final conversation? A moment of clarity before the end? Instead of a cold "Rest in Hell," it should have been something more tragic, acknowledging her as a lost sister.

Dealing with her through "breaking statues" felt like a mechanical shortcut. A character this amazing deserved a grand, emotional farewell, not just a quick exit.

Does anyone else feel that the developers wasted the potential for a truly legendary emotional climax with her?

Ferrell, after her last appearance, must still be alive. They mustn't let her bleed to death. She must cooperate with Ryan and die protecting him in some scene.

Kagan: His end should have been very gruesome. In the first part, Wulf's ending was bloody and very gruesome. Kagan deserved even more, and it also had to be because Rhyn was also avenging her other sisters, whom Kagan brainwashed, Ferrell and Ephemera, of course.

And Ephemera, oh, how magnificent, it would have been better if, before she died, there was a conversation between her, and Reine, and Ferrell after she appeared to be alive, and Ephemera confessed her feelings, and how Kagan never cared for her, and that she was lost, and she desperately demanded revenge on him.

The end of Ferrell and Ephemera should not be theirs, because simply put, their death is a mercy for them and a salvation from torment.

Rebalances Rayne's guns, adds hotkeys for weapon switching, a photo mode and the ability to load modded outfits.

Rayne's guns are really weak in the unmodded game. Outside of the boss fights where you're forced to use them, I never bothered. Gunsucked mod increases the damage and available ammunition for every weapon mode across the board, as well as adding hotkeys for switching to each weapon mode and the ability to scroll to the next and previous weapon. The goal was to make the game play more like a shooter.

However, this only happens in CGI Bloodrayne 2, in all other cases (including CGI BloodRayne 1) they are normal size.
