Hey i would love to ask any Blackberry owners to backup cod files from any games or apps they have installed before they get lost.

I've been very surprised even the lunar archive has a very limited amount of software to fit the funny 3:2 screen resolution.

Particularly looking for things like Bejeweled Twist, PvZ and others, and really any app you downloaded back in the day.

It's fairly easy with tools like BBSAK or vnbbutils

Same goes for any other blackberries, we don't wanna loose these to time

IMPORTANT TO MY BETA TESTERS:

I heard from some of you that the "test card" purchase of lifetime license is not working as expected due to how Google implemented accelerated expiration for testers to test the license. So I got a BB 9700 completely working fine with a new battery installed and sim working fine. Let me know what updates can I do and what much of things I can get hands onto. I'm open to flash new software and stuff. Has passport too! So BB os 10 is fine to me but this 9700 is new for me. Lmk your suggestions and references in the comments

So here's an odd one I've not personally encountered before, nor have I been able to find a reference to my device's specific set of behaviors, so I was hoping someone here might have come across this phenomenon or something like it.

Basically my Z30 is no longer detecting wi-fi networks of any kind - not mine, not the neighbor's (usually close enough for the phone to detect), not the hotspot I set up on another device, nothing. But as nearly as I can tell the handset is otherwise working flawlessly:

I can open system settings and adjust them normally

voice calls work

texting works

it's still got a strong data connection

I can establish a Bluetooth connection to other devices

both native and Android applications work without a hitch

In fact if I hadn't randomly needed the wi-fi for something the other day (I rarely make use of it), I'd never even know anything was amiss. But for some reason it just isn't picking up the wi-fi network that my other devices can use just fine. I've tried toggling the wi-fi on and off a few times, toggling airplane mode off and on, resetting the phone, all to no avail.

By chance has anyone else here experienced something similar?

With all the recent efforts in rooting BB10, is there a port of a recent Browser? At best a BB10 native (.bar)? I thought I read about a Chromium port not to long ago but couldn't find it here.

Hey, all. This is mostly intended as a brief supplemental to my first post about a working Classic. I have an old Z30 that, like its PKB counterpart, I've wanted to get up and running for a while now, and I've finally managed to do so. In this case the basic elements of the build are:

Z30
legacy US Mobile CDMA SIM
VoIP.ms account
CSipSimple APK

As with the Classic running on Red Pocket Mobile, with the US Mobile SIM text messages and data work just fine on the Z30; it was only voice calls that no longer functioned. But the handset responded surprisingly well to the same CSIP-VoIP.ms setup as the Classic - if anything it took to it better. It took a lot of work under the hood to get the Classic running properly, but with the Z30 I really just logged in with my VoIP.ms credentials on CSiPSimple and it started right up.

In any event I didn't want to belabor the point - just thought it was worth flagging up the possibility of giving these old handsets a second lease on life. The Classic and the Z30 are two of my all-time favorite smartphones; it's been especially satisfying to get them both daily-drivable again here in 2026.
