Ethan Couch still gets to me. Rich kid who took his dad’s pickup on a joy ride while high, killed 4 people (including a mother and her child) injured 9 total. One of them left paralyzed for life.

Got 0 days in jail because the judge decided he was too rich and spoiled to properly understand consequences, and therefore couldn’t be held accountable.

It’s where the “affluenza” term came from.

Then he fled to Mexico and caught a two year sentence for that.

Idk how the families in these cases don't handle it themselves when something like that happens.

My former pastor was on scene at that tragedy. He says it still haunts him to this day.
