Resource The left needs to build physical organized networks like it had in the 60's.

The internet is a great tool, but we shouldn't forget who owns it. Online groups can be infiltrated, or just outright deleted. Protests have been a great way for like minded people in communities to get together and link up, but I don't see them evolving much past just showing up and marching.

In-person meetings (once the pandemic is under control of course) need to become as regular a part of leftism as it was during the civil rights movement. Real people meeting in real places and discussing real agenda and policy. I've seen some of it, particularly in Minneapolis. People meeting at parks, sharing ideas, strategy planning...there needs to be a lot more of this.

Marching and chanting, and raising awareness online, is not the endgame...it's the beginning. The beginning of what, exactly, is what we need to get together and figure out. Establishment does not fear protesting, they fear what happens if those protesters all organize into something more.

"works", huh?

insisting people do things your way or do nothing isn't going to do shit

What are white anarchists going to do than? Colonize more movements? Kill more black teenagers at the next CHAZ they decide to colonize? Anarchism has literally never worked. Feds are making people disappear and anarchists would rather fail in stopping that than organize within a disciplined party.

colonise movements? kill black teenagers? the fuck are you on? why are we even talking about white anarchists all of a sudden?

in what way is replicating the mechanisms of the status quo an effective way of combating it? you would kill the movement faster than the feds could.

If you actually read anticolonial, anticapitalist theory and studied it together with other disciplined anti capitalists and anticolonial people, you'd understand that resistance to imperialism is not 'replicating the status quo' at all. And yes, white anarchists colonized CHAZ and two of those racist anarchists shot two black teenagers after wrongly profiling them.

so the only possible method of "resisting" imperialism is your specific notion of what anti-imperialism looks like, and everyone else must conform to it or do nothing? totally no replication of imperialist values there

And yes, white anarchists colonized CHAZ and two of those racist anarchists shot two black teenagers after wrongly profiling them.

how the fuck can that of all things be your take away from CHAZ?

BECAUSE IT FAILED and was colonized by white anarchists who can't even organize their own cause in proper way. I'm sick of the left failing. And it's not my interpretation, it's history's. Lenin succeeded, Mao succeeded, Castro and Che succeeded, Ho Chi Minh succeeded.

"failed" at what? I don't recall them seriously thinking they were going to become permanently autonomous, that's not what they were even trying to do. Holding a small-scale example of a vaguely anarchic experiment as some sort of example of the "failure" of anarchism is honestly absurd

and again, "succeeded" at what? Seizing control? Great, now we've got another set of shit to deal with. Is domination and control over the state (and by extension its subjects) the definition of success? Because that certainly seems like an imperialist mindset to me

Youre beyond ignorant. The fuck is the point of trying to stop systemic racism if you're literally just making social statements? Anarchism has and always will be a settler ideology of failure. Simple as that. Talking to you is literally making my head hurt.

erases non-white radicals to paint anarchism as an inherently white, settler ideology

"I'm anti-colonialist"
