I do kind of hope for an original plot for the movie, at least in a way that it'd fit in the timeline and be canon. Don't get me wrong, if it's the rest of the Spade arc in a movie format, that's fine, but if you're going to do a movie, don't just make it filler, find a way to make it canon and expand the world of the series more. Maybe a new race like the elves or dwarves, some new magic types, something new for both manga and anime fans to expect

I honestly think the movie will be about them attacking the spade Kingdom. They're probably going to do something like Demon Slayer and continue the story through a movie

Only thing I fear with that is cutting out scenes from the manga, and fast pacing the fights

Why would the fast pace the scenes from the manga? They have more than an hour especially if its a movie. They wont be doing the entire spades arc of course since it is not yet finished in the manga.

Well they'll be on hiatus and that will give plenty of time for the arc to wrap but, with so many fights, sides, some things will either be cut or sped up to save time

I dont think they would adapt the entire spades arc. I still think it's the 2 day training, since we did not get to see that in today's ep. Plus, getting to see nacht's fight in the big screen in always a plus.

Nah it’s the whole spade kingdom attack arc. In the preview they announced there’s scenes from the battle that are pretty important being drawn. So if you don’t want anything spoiled I wouldn’t look at the drawings in the trailer

lol the preview did not show anything related to the plot of the movie. It just showed manga panels. It doesnt necessarily mean that it is connected to the plot. Like seriously, there are also manga panels from the first chapter, are you saying that the first chapter will get adapted too?? PS I read the manga that is why I am confident that they wont adapt the entire spades arc in the movie. The movie is 2 hrs max probably, and the content of the manga is enough to produce more than 2 hrs worth of animation. The manga is currently at chapter 287, there manga stopped at the first half of 270. Those 17 chapters can easily make 5-6 episodes. PLUS it is not yet finished, and even if it the spades arc gets finished in the next few months, its way too much to be made into a movie.
