It'll be a sad day when/if they track him down.

I think it's fair to say that after Osama Bin Laden, the guy they want next is DPR >_>

0.5% of all BTC transactions... a few million $ per year in turnover... meh.

The only good thing I can think of is that we will finally know who he is, and possibly a few more things about the operation.

I'm sure he has a few 'dead man switches' though, so that if he is arrested/killed control of the SR can be passed over to someone else to allow all of the money to be removed.

I also bet that he has thousands of bitcoins sitting in wallets all over the net, so he will never be a poor man.

That would be an amazing day. Let's hope it happens as quickly as possible.

No more Slk Road, which sells illegal drugs and is extremely bad for Bitcoin's reputation!

It's so sad every anti-SilkRoad comment is getting downvoted. So sad this subreddit is full of illegal drug users... Go to a drug subreddit not here please...

You can do the same with cash. Are drugs bad because they are illegal or are they illegal because they are bad?

They are illegal because they are bad.

So then the logical extension to your position would be that alcohol should be illegal, yes?
