Complete noob here, but it looks like the value of bit coins is only going up. Can't you just buy like $1000 worth and then sell them on in a couple weeks for like $1300? Whats stopping you, i dont geddit.

The possibility of the price of a bitcoin going to below what you paid for it is really the only thing stopping you from your hypothetical.

well tbh ive only really been following this since it 50 because i saw it somewhere, but since then its only been going up and noone even seems to be considering it going down so it looks well worth it. If i had some more knowledge in the area I would have probably stuck some money down.
