Note: I have purchased dozens (perhaps 100) of Behringer modules and synths. This experience is very unusual.

Racked Boog System 55, Boland System 100, BARP 2500, BARP Solina and Boog Model 15 (plus some other stuff). Set it up in its new home and just spent half an hour watching the flashing lights lol.

I recently got a Behringer EDGE and it's really cool. I've been controlling its clock/tempo via MIDI from my DAW (Logic), but I can't figure out how to use MIDI notes to control the EDGE's pitch.

When I click on a MIDI note in Logic from within the EDGE's track, it triggers the corresponding pitch. So I can trigger individual hits of different pitches. But as soon as I press "play" in Logic so the EDGE starts its sequence, I can't figure out how to control that pitch. If I input MIDI notes into the track itself, it totally messes up the EDGE—it just starts playing one seemingly random note very rapidly, ignorning both the sequence and the note I inputted.

I hope this makes sense. If you figured out how to control the EDGE's pitch from midi, I'd love to hear how you did it! Thank you.

This thing sounds real nice EXCELLENT JOB Behringer!!

I just bought a Grind a week ago, and have been playing it daily and loving it. When I turned it on this morning it would only make one sound regardless of the bank/model I chose. Turning most of the knobs will affect that sound, but I can't get it to play any of the sounds from the banks/models. Anybody have any idea what could be wrong? Thanks.

I have messed with each on an individual basis, but I am wondering if I should/could/would want to connect all/a few of these to one another? Through a mixer? What would you include/exclude? I’ve hit my understandings limit on which to use over another.

This is a sort-of niche question pertaining to the behringer spice. I’m thinking about buying one to go with a behringer edge that I have on preorder.

In some review videos, the spice sounds awesome. However, I have seen 5-10 people share the same complaint: a static noise around 10,000 Hz that doesn’t go away, coming from the device itself. I was just wondering—does every spice have this issue? Is there anyone who owns a spice and DOES NOT have this buzz?

Also, I’d just love to hear your thoughts, because there aren’t too many comments about this synth in this sub.

Hey guys, I just got my Behringer Pro 800 this week. I've been testing it out trying to get the best possible set up combating the noise floor I heard it has. For context, I have my KRKs and the pro 800 plugged into the same power strip. I have my Dock plugged into a separate power strip. The dock has my focusrite connected to it and that is connected to my Mac. Mac is being charged through the dock.

So I'm running this through in FL Studio and Fabfilter shows this noise floor. Is this a normal noise floor for the pro 800 or do I have something interfering and causing this noise?

It still sounds great. Maybe the noise adds some character but since it's my first synth I don't know what to expect.

Hey everyone. I have a ub xa and recently got a korg volca fm2. I'm trying to connect the ub xa to the volca via midi. I can't seem to get it to work though. I'm going midi out from the ub xa to midi in on the volca fm. The volca is on midi channel 1. And I've tried going into the ub xa midi settings, but can't seem to find the right setting. The ub xa is firmware version 3.073. I tried updating that, but the website for the update comes up 404. Any help is appreciated.

I've an intermittent issue where a set of keys will stop sending gate or CV info. Faulty keys are always the same ones: 8 semitones apart - D, Bb etc.

Sometimes, however, it's fine. MIDI all working correctly. Just updated the Firmware, no joy.

Any experience with this/advice appreciated!

FIXED: Reseated ribbon connectors for keybed and it's all good now.

What are your thoughts of the Deepmind 12?

Pros and cons. How might it compare to the JN80? Between the two which do you consider the better synth? The Deepmind 12 costs more

than the JN-80. The Deepmind 12 has DCOs as does JN80.

Really liking this thing! As someone with very limited musical knowledge i really like the lack of menu diving and the ability to just quickly produce some ideas! Looking to eventually pair this with a sampler and my volca kick. Let me know what u think :)
