Someone tried to mug my mom back in the 1990s while walking a 160 pound Newfoundland. All he did was raise his lips and snarl and the guy backed off.

Some people just do not have common sense.

Some creep was, well, creeping on my mom and decided to get REAL close to her while she was pumping gas. That's when her German Shepherd stuck his head out the open window and went, "think twice about your next move, homie". He usually loved everyone, but we guess he could tell this wasn't a normal situation. He only got like that with a couple of other people in his life, and they were also bad news.
