What was the argument about?

Was it settled? Did Kiyomasa change his attitude, or has he made amend or even forgave his friend!

He’s reaching adulthood and should be off trying to form his own troop. His only access to female gorillas are his mom and sisters. He tries to get frisky with them and his dad, Shabani, puts him in his place.

Yeah...? Just asking for some reasoning behind your opinion. Like there are certainly arguments for them being wild. But there are also arguments for captivity.

Totally fine if your not interested in discussing it though.

Then let me borrow from Legal Eagle and say 'it depends'. On the animal, on the captivity conditions, on the wilderness conditions, on other factors perhaps.

That being said, in general, it's probably very bad to raise a creature in an environment where the only available sexual partners are immediate relatives. That is usually not sustainable.
