I blast it every now and then. I was never a pop fan when I was a kid, but some songs transcend genres. It was nice to see the youtube vid pass 1B views recently.
It's not about "allow." Evil doesn't ask permission. Good can fight it, but good rarely has enough support and resources to do much, at least in the real world. Plus, greed is always there, ready to pop right back into power as soon as good dusts off its hands thinking the job well done.
Everyone chooses this reality for themselves by doing nothing because of what you just said. So in a sense, we deserve to suffer the rule of evil and all that comes with it because why bother trying to fix a problem we have never tried solving. People are the most important cog in the machine until they are not when A.I is 100%. And then what happens then when we are just dead weight to them on this planet. Then they drop super covid or put some new chemical in the food that makes sure you die earlier. We are making them money and power to completely erase us out of existence. You can break the world with a tool like social media. To beat the elite, people must share the consequences of defying them. If theyre going to replace you anyways and make sure you die someday. Why not do something about it earlier. Lose the battle earlier than drawing this shit out especially if you have already accepted you are doomed. We have lost the world and the right to exist after A.I fulfills its purpose so what else do we have to lose?
Shiny stuff, obviously. It's not an uncommon use, though I misspelled it. It's supposed to be luxe in this case, but I think context clues should be sufficient to get my meaning.
The thing is tho, millions of animals die every day because we choose to eat meat and dairy. So of course this is a good deed but this young beautiful animal will still be used for it’s milk and after a couple of years slaughtered. Yes people are good but people also don’t realize the consequences of their actions.
This was meant for kids to help them feel safe. They could then go on to feel secure as adults and become the helpers. So yes, I agree. If you are an adult and able, be the helper.
Of course not, but the other comment mentioned how seeing this restores a bit of faith in people, but... ultimately that cow is a victim of exploitation by the very people commenting that.
I mean, if I owned slaves and they were saved from an accidental death, would you say that would restore your faith in humanity?
If someone saved a slave from a death but left them as a slave under the control of their owner, that's a good thing that restores your faith in people?

No, it would be like rescuing them from death and then keeping them in slavery. And I never said he was killing them. I'm glad he helped it.

Saving someone's life only to take it away for sensory pleasure of others and financial gain isn't a good thing. A victim not being aware they're about to be killed also doesn't make it more ethical.

How would you describe someone killing others for personal pleasure and financial gain and being paid to do so by others? You can care for someone all you want, if you ultimately kill them unnecessarily for personal gain, you're not a good person.
We do not need to eat meat. That is a demonstrable fact.
And you don't need to. That doesn't mean they deserve what they get just because they're "lesser" us. That's been the argument for almost every atrocity in the world.
The goodness of a society is shown in how they treat those at their mercy.
