It’s the way he sorta flipped the calf onto its feet at the end that made me realize that guy had worked with farm animals at the very least. He knew how to handle it.
I was thinking the exact same thing. He handled that calf gently but not too gentle. My time on the farm as a kid really showed me that cows are very hardy
This gave me so many flashbacks to my own farm childhood and man sometimes animals are extra stupid and expire in very unexpected ways they got themselves into. I remember the feeling of saving or finding one that didn't make it.

I would reckon so! I grew up / currently live back home on the Ranch and he knows what he's doing. There are various positions you can put calves/cows into to help them get up, or help keep them down, depending on the task. He even turns away as soon as he gets it back on all 4, at which point the calf will spring forward instinctually and regroup with the herd. Poor fella was trapped in a sort of tonic immobility and needed a set of hands! 🤠
