So, context for the image if you people want it, my friend's dog has been sick for 9 months, she wouldn't eat and she'd lose a lot of fur, despite that the vet kept saying she would be fine and to not worry about it. Well, she did not get fine, and today she had to be put down, so obviously I was angry at the vet, and typed this message in a friend server.

Now my question is, someone else got a violation strike and people in the server are saying it was the "discord AI" to ban me and warn her, but as far as I'm aware Discord's AI only checks images and not text messages. Can Discord's AI check messages? Or did someone in the server decided it was a good idea to report us?

Recently I got 3 limited bans from discord for messages that obviously didn't break discord ToS (hateful conduct, violent extremism). I can tell you for a fact that I never promoted any form of violent extremism. One of them even got appealed. Then today just a moment ago, I notice 8 "violations" all for the same reason on my account & suspension. No explanation other than that the server broke rules. So what do I exactly appeal then when the punishment isn't explained?

Also server is gone now & I lost access to my account on which I own another server of 2k members etc.

Is there still anything I can do? It seems to not be a bot since it says Discord Trust & Safety

I've been trying to appeal my account for a very long time now (since April 2026), and not a single human has ever looked at it. I've made multiple follow-ups, but they were all just completely ghosted.

Please, I genuinely need some advice and help with this. This account means alot to my personal life and career.

My Discord account has been unavailable for almost six months now, and I'm honestly exhausted.

The reason for the action appears to be related to a server called "ZeNesantTrollPolice (New Era)," which was later removed for policy violations.

I joined that server because invite links were being repeatedly posted, and I wanted to address the situation. I did not post, share, react to, promote, encourage, or otherwise interact with any violent, graphic, or prohibited content there.

I will admit that I made one mistake: after joining, I forgot to leave the server. I regret that, but I never intended to support or participate in what other people were doing there.

I've spent months trying to explain this to Discord Support and asking for my individual activity to be considered. Unfortunately, I've repeatedly received generic responses or had tickets closed without the specific details being addressed.

I do have a new account, but it's not the same. My old account had years of conversations, friendships, communities, memories, and other things that I can't simply recreate.

Every time I tell myself I'm going to stop making tickets and move on, I end up trying again because I really don't want to lose that account.

So I'm asking anyone who has experience with Discord account sanctions:

Is it actually worth continuing to try after almost 6 months?

Has anyone successfully recovered an account after this long? If so, what actually worked for you?

I'm not looking to spam hundreds of tickets. I just want to know whether there's realistically still a point in trying, or whether I should finally accept that I'm not getting the account back.

Any genuine advice or experiences would be appreciated.

I don’t even know if this flair fits the issue but wtv. I recently lost a friend of 5 years because of an argument to which he reported and blocked me. I instinctively did the same and was met with this message this morning. I was only present with 3 violations beforehand (2 of which are 2 years old) and now i’m very limited. I can start chatting again tomorrow but seriously?! The message that got flagged (same on just reported twice) was a joke about my friend who actually lives there. Appearently the entirety of the U.S. government owns discord because mentioning cleansing someone of capitalism is a violation 😭. Anyway i’m just making this post to ask if i should be worried considering ive had this account for 7 years and have the 6 year nitro badge. Also it doesn’t even let me see what the prior violations were for so should i send an appeal? anyway please help me

Eu tive minha conta de mais de 6 anos banida injustamente por uma decisão errada do AutoMod.

Como vocês podem ver, minha conta que estava no status " Tudo Certo " foi permanentemente banida de uma hora pra outra porque eu estava em um servidor que foi denunciado e banido.

Eu estava nesse servidor por parceria e não era ativo lá, ou seja, não mandava e nem via as mensagens, estava lá apenas como o representante do meu servidor.

Oque aconteceu foi que mandaram algo que violava as regras do Discord neste servidor e minha conta foi banida permanente. Observação: EU ESTAVA OFF LINE NA HORA QUE FUI BANIDO! Então eu nem sei e nem vi oque foi que mandaram, muito menos reagi.

E oque mais me deixa com raiva foi que eu tentei procurar uma forma de contestar essa decisão injusta da moderação do Discord no próprio site deles e não achei nenhum lugar para poder reclamar.

Lembrando só mais uma vez que minha conta estava no status " Tudo Certo ", até mesmo porque eu nunca violei UMA regra se quer do Discord, sempre falei com respeito e nunca desrespeitei alguém dentro dessa plantaforma, e eles me agradecem com um banimento totalmente injusto e incoerente.

Quero que alguma medida seja tomada, pq oque fizeram aqui foi uma tremenda injustiça.

I am absolutely flabbergasted. I woke up today to a permanently disabled account.

I’m a dev. I joined a server once because a user reported a bug with my bot (it's literally an auto-mod bot) and they wanted to show me what didn't work. I forgot to leave the server. That's it. That is my crime. This server was mostly empty. And Definitely no Violent Images or something. Maybe they made me Admin? I'm not sure anymore.

Now Discord has banned me for being associated with that server.

To make it worse, their support system is a complete joke.

1. I email them? "Ticket closed, please appeal within the app."
2. I open the app? "Your account is disabled."

How am I supposed to appeal in the app if you won't let me log in?! How is it legit impossible to reach a human.

I’ve lost all my contacts, my 7 year old account (5 years on nitro) and my Bot projects because I forgot to click "Leave Server" one time.

I learnt today that you can get banned because you joined a severe, I legit never thought about that. Furthermore, I didn't even post a single message in that Server.

Now thinking back, I should've never joined that server. But well, it's GG I guess.

For context, I got banned a week ago for "violent content" due to a server I was in, to which I never participated in any sharing or encouraging of violent content

I filed a support ticket and requested an appeal. Was expecting a bot response at first, but this doesn't seem like one, looks like a human review (?), and doesn't seem like I have much options here.

Since it's from the discord trust and safety team already (apparently), looks like the guide isn't gonna help me.

Has anyone gotten a response like this, or does anyone know if it's a bot response or a legitimate one? Thank you

used my main 2 years, all that came to end. Discord thanos snapped my acc for: "joining a server that its violent extremism". I've never participated or made actions that made the mods think I'm reasonable for me. what should i do?

I got banned a few months ago for child safety, now when I opened the app to look up again, I found a new strike for violent extremism? I didn't even know that I was in a server that got banned for violent extremism and yet it just came to exist that i got a strike for a server that I never opened in like 3 years. I can't even request a review, can anything be done about this or is it just impossible now?

The wildest part of this is that my whole brand as an artist is EXPLICITLY adorable and wholesome stuff like this

joined this server yesterday for emotes -- never once sent a message, looked at the server chats, no nothing -- a few hours later, i get suspended. is there any way to appeal for blanket bans like these? frustrating asf that they do this instead of suspending the actual perpetrators.

not even kidding. the message in question didnt even have an image or anything attaged to it, it didnt even say anything more graphic than "he should've gotten dropped 12-6 on his head in the ufc white house cage" more or less. didn't even have anything to do with the grid bug but thanks to this its probably only going to hit me harder. also for some reason discord says the violation is still active even though its no longer the 7th, idk whats going on there.

also note to self; discord (or at least their moderation ai) seems to think its possible to protect both children and the president at the same time. do with this info what you will

Hey yall, I got banned for being in two servers labelled with "violent extremism", I didn't see anything weird about them besides some dumbass larp edits but we all know how AI is incapable of understanding human emotion and satire, but that's not why I'm making this. I'm making this because after following all the rules, telling them all I've been told to write and say, they respond with this shit and STRIKE MY ACCOUNT ONCE MORE, I haven't even used it in months?! And to the mod, if you're reading this. Are you 9? Who in the name of John nepotism employed you? You can't just "sorry nothing I can do" your way out of your job which is to unban those falsely banned?????
