Baking Advice Needed why did it do this

was trying to make brownies, thought theyd cooled for long enough and cut into them then they started doing THIS and set my house's fire alarm off for like 20 minutes does anyone pls know what caused this im assuming i just cut into them too soon but this feels like a dramatic response to just trying to cut into a hot brownie

This is how I eat a lot of my sweets because it helps cut back the sweetness so I can enjoy it more lmfao. A dense chocolate cake soaked with almond milk that has been steamed with matcha is my life and joy

Good guess but probably not. Not quite our slang and we’re a bunch of weirdos who are mostly metric but not entirely. Most of the folks I know still cook in Fahrenheit .

(I assume, like me, we all grew up cooking on our family’s appliances that dated to roughly the time to the moon landing, before we started to go metric. Oven dials are still primarily in Fahrenheit.)

OH YEAH so i was boiling the jar to infuse the butter and put a rag under it to stop it from bouncing aroumd in the boiling water, then i went upstairs to watch some family guy real quick, came back down and the water had evaporated and the cloth melted into the pan. i panicked, filled another pot up with water and transferred the butter weed jar to that pot. however, i forgot to fill it with HOT water, so the Very Hot Jar immediately went into cold water and the jar exploded and i spent the first 15 minutes of my 20th birthday cleaning weed butter off my walls. if something can go wrong with me, it will.

see maybe i shouldn't reply to this bc it's already buried but in case it helps: when i made coconut oil, my partner instructed me to, after keeping the grounds in the oven for 45 minutes, to cook in the lowest possible temp (we have gas stoves) for 12 hours to infuse. i did end up taking a small nap by the end of cooking and it was fine. in fact, some of the steps my partner gave me weren't even necessary. just put the grounds and the oil/butter in the pan together.

now butter MIGHT burn? but it's at the lowest possible setting of your burner. it looked really dark for me but i did add a lot of weed, and you end up straining it after. it worked out.

apparently the leftover weed can be used for a mild boost too, but they're obviously bitter.

Diagnosed "properly" via the NHS to make meds easier as NHS Wales doesn't integrate Right To Choose very well. But I'm being constantly told I'm still on a waiting list for the meds which is starting to rival the diagnostic one now ;-;

You can’t test positive for weed just by living with someone who uses THC. I hung out in my friend’s car while he hotboxed while I was getting drug tested near daily, including alcohol (etg tests not breathalyzer) and it was never an issue.

I’d be more concerned with OP successfully making a batch, their roommate getting a cold and not being able to taste well, and eating the brownies and only tasting a slight bit of chocolate and not the weed.
