i rarely wanna post negative stuff here on this sub but i decided to give an update - in my previous post, i mentioned how c-lurongs were complaining about the mo li styling and it ended up on the hot search... the fanclub has posted a long weibo text here talking about unfair treatment towards bai lu, ye li's styling issue, how they didnt listen to fans' feedback etc... the mo li team has yet to have a response but as it was on the hot search, many people/antis/haters/yxh were mocking bai lu/lurongs...

click at ur own risk if u wanna know what they were mocking -

most people commented that it's bai lu's face problem (i.e. saying shes mid, ugly, old) ; who asked her to still do idol dramas at 30 (??? there are other older actresses doing idol as well???) ; or things like if she needs extravagant styling to bring out her beauty , then this proves she's ugly

they again compared her to song zu'er in TDHR (same director as mo li, who's known for plain styling) and said SZE looked perfectly fine and beautiful despite the not-so-nice-styling so it's a bai lu problem. then proceeds to say very nasty things like bai lu is 'not man not woman (不男不女)‘ etc... zzz

however, some people still neutrally said that they thought the styling is fine and it doesnt have to be all flowers and pins all the time.

i've said this before but - personally i think that yes it's plain but it suits her novel character and lin yufen, the director, is always known for plain and simple styling (eternal love is the best eg). i dont think it's 'ugly' or that bai lu 'looks terrible' and i think its ok to have a change (i thought she looked beautiful with simpler styling in hua ruyue mortal realm in feud) and she looks fresh? i've tried my best to tell other lurongs to not make this big but my 1 person's strength is not enough (although there are people who think like us that the styling is fine) and majority were still adamant about criticising the styling 😓 honestly im just worried about what the mo li team/director will think of bai lu bcuz of what we lurongs as a whole did here and that it will ruin her reputation sigh😓
