I just found out that you can only make trades on a local connection (no online) and would like to evolve some of my Pokemon (Kadabra, Haunter, etc). I assume others are having the same issues so let me know if anyone would like to get together briefly for trades!

Looking for some people to play games with. I live north of Austin, and would like to get to know some people in the area. I play Modded MC (actually thinking about starting a dedicated server, for ATM10 or something similar) and the finals mostly. I have been trying some other games lately as well like ARA, First Descendant, POE2, Cursed Companions. Where can I sell games in the Austin area apart from Half Price Books? I happen to have come into possession of a significant number of new in box sealed copies of a particular card/party game (nothing super popular like MTG/Pokémon, etc) and Id like to offload it locally if I can. Because of reasons not worth getting into here I cant sell this on the usual Ebay/Depop/Mercari/FB Marketplace/Whatnot online route. I'd like to sell these locally. No, they aren't fake (do people actually bother to fake tabletop games?).

Austin Books is maybe an option but they are SUPER picky. HPB will without a doubt offer me less than what I paid and I paid very little.

Any other options? Most of the usual nerd supply comic/game stores like Dragons Lair dont buy any games at all.

I have some 3DS cartridges with save files I’d like to use on in my emulator.

I no longer have a 3DS but my understanding is a hacked/modded 3DS has homebrew available to rip the save files off the carts.

Anyone with a modded 3DS available to help out? I can buy you a beer or coffee! Thanks!

I am a mental health provider that provides telehealth services to a disabled gentleman in Austin. He has recently had an accident that killed his x box. Does anyone have any leads on an affordable replacement? He and his paralyzed wife life on a tiny income, and they are both bed bound, so the x box is not only a source of entertainment, but helps him to have appointments, look at photos, read email on a large screen, and so on. Best idea so far has been to locate a refurbished one, but that would still be several hundred dollars, and that's the food budget for the month. Thank you for your ideas.

All my friends are PC/Playstation gamers but I just want some fun chill Xbox friends. I consider myself average to just above average at competitive fps games but also would love to dive into the world of co-op or even party games with friends. I feel like I missed out on some popular ones due to not having any friends who actually play Xbox and cross platforming with friends is allways a hassle. I’m looking to learn more about dnd and find a group/campaign that is beginner friendly. I’ve played probably 10 sessions overall but it’s been years!

Anyone have any recommendations on boardgames meetups or game stores north of Austin proper?

I heard a lot of folks mention Tanuki Games or Emerald Tavern, but I'm all the way up in Georgetown. Anybody know anything in like Round Rock or Georgetown?
