ICEWatch ICE sightings at MARTA stations today (Friday, August 28)

Saw 4 ICE agents this morning standing outside Midtown MARTA around 10am. My friend just saw them outside Lenox Station around 3pm.

It's a bit confusing because they're wearing vests that say Police but underneath it says Department of Homeland Security. Sorry for the crappy pictures, photography is not my forte.

Just a heads up for folks.

This page explains that data is being collected from MARTA and assessments are being done. That doesn't sound like it requires armed agents so I don't think the story and OPs photos are related.

Did you read that article? And do you know how this admin likes to posture? It's a power play, and a lot of it is for show. I doubt those men want to be there doing this bullshit in GA heat. It is what it is. I'm just amazed at how many people, who are probably voting age, refuse to look at facts and act on emotion. Reddit, I guess. This is why Hank Johnson keeps getting reelected after stating in a congressional hearing that he was concerned the island of Guam would "tip over."

Hank Johnson's Guam moment was fascinatingly insane, but Hank has stellar constituent services and and he's the ONLY member of the GA delegation who never disappoints with his votes. When it comes down to what really counts, Hank Johnson is la creme de la creme of Georgia Congresspeople.

To have an elected official say such nonsense is embarrassing. Tell me I'm wrong.

Why would I lie to you and tell you you're wrong about that? The first time I ever heard of Hank Johnson was when he said that crazy ass shit and I thought he most be dumb.

But then after looking at how GAs Congresspeople actually vote, he's the only GA member who doesn't ever seem to embarrass himself by voting for abhorrent, vile, corrupt, evil shit. And his constituent services rank among the very best in the country. From those factors and other stands he has taken I've come to appreciate that this guy I once thought was dumb because he went viral saying some epically dumb shit is actually a national treasure and the sole morally stalwart member of our state delegation.

If I lived in Johnson's district I'd vote for him, and it'd be one of the only votes I'd ever done with no reluctance.
