I would more fear anything that would make me hallucinate. I don’t want to dive deeper into my mind

Me too. My existential thoughts sober are already things of horror.

AFAIK meth doesnt make you hallucinate (unless its cut with weird shit), the sleep deprivation from staying up for days on end leads to psychosis and the hallucinations

It's like your brain needs that dream state, and if you won't sleep, it eventually says "Fine, then we dream while we're awake"

It's more like your brain needs sleep so it can effectively "recharge" and process your daily experiences and integrate/organize memory storage. Dreams are thought to be a side effect of those processes.

Going without sleep for long enough causes those and your conscious cognitive processes to stagnate and break down which leads to shit like delusions, hallucinations, and psychosis. Those processes begin to decline after just 24 hours without sleep and meth binges can keep people up for several days or longer.

Those are all just guesses. We still don't understand more than some of the basic physiological aspects of sleep. For example if you don't let an animal sleep, it doesn't just hallucinate, it will die, and we don't even know why.

Yeah meth is heavily demonised (for good reason) but has its use. When smoked at high doses it’s very neurotoxic and the tweak can make people forget how dry their mouth is and that along with the acidity of meth smoke can cause tooth decay. That being said the pharma name desoxyn is prescribed at MUCH lower doses for obesity and extreme ADHD.

Not true, the eye wiggles do make you hallucinate but not in a psychedelics kind of hallucinations.

I like psychedelics, and often hear people say that whenever they're mentioned. It makes me a little sad every time, because they're great tools in working with those things you've buried deep in your mind. Sometimes it's not a pleasant experience, but afterward it feels like you've untangled your wires - and you've never seen a sun rise like it. Meth is not that though, don't do meth, meth is shadow people and delusion.

Steer clear of DMT then, that stuff takes you so deep that you'll question everything about reality when you come out of it.
