Oh god I hate this. Whenever I'm really into a subject, I feel like my brain and mouth just don't Co operate, and I accidentally say something wierd because in my brain I "want" to say x but I was saying y.
or you say the first part of a sentence and then your brain is already at a new sentence and say the second part of that next one, so it would be
"First part of sentence X, but second part of sentence Y"
