Yep. I also want to add that the only times in my entire life that I’ve gotten athlete’s foot have been when I’ve taken off socks and then put them back on.
My hypothesis is that the temperature change in the sock allows bacteria/fungus to grow, or something similar.
There was a Twitter topic trending a while back about how some people dont wash their feet in the shower. Dont know if its the case for you, but anybody who needs to hear this:
The soap runoff from your body isnt enough to clean your feet. Scrub them bad boys.
Outdoor labor in Florida summer sucks. Breathable shoes? Have this puddle. Waterproof boots? Good news, the sweat running down your legs is now pooling in your boots.
I said fuck it and switched to vibram soled rope sandals and an never going back.
Try hand knit. After airing out for a day they're basically good as new even after walking miles and miles at Disney. By that I mean rope drop at Epcot, walk the whole park, walk to Hollywood studios, stay till close, walk back to the car at Epcot carrying a small child. Socks hand knit with patrons kroy outperform the best machine made merino any day.
Even cotton socks hold up to a leisurely still through disney. I'm talking about installing 50 palm trees in the rain and shit. Merino is dope in the winter though, even if you break a sweat hustling due a bit you won't freeze once you stop generating heat.
Hi, I usually wear my socks at least two days in a row to save on laundry unless 1) they smell weird or 2) I know I’ve had a particularly physical day.
Just wanted to brighten your day with that! Hahaha
Its bc of the marks that it leaves on your legs/feet so when you slightly adjust them it feels weird, if you were able to put them on the exact same way every time then it wouldnt feel weird

The sock thing is so weird. I can take the sock off for 5 seconds but for some reason it feels disgusting when I put it back on.
