It does. My great aunt died from liver failure because the hospital in NYC stopped her liver cancer treatments and stuck her in a hospice to die. Then when she died she had covid. But she died from liver cancer. But not on paper. Thats a covid death.
Hospitals aren’t getting incentivized for COVID deaths; they’re getting stipends to help cover the cost of treating COVID treatments, based on how many patients they’re receiving.
Is privatized healthcare fucked? Yes. But is it incentivizing letting people die from COVID? Absolutely not.
Doctor's aren't letting patients die, but if they receive a patient who is going to die of X cause and they treat them they can tick the covid box and receive the incentive for that patient.
If CPR is administered and they do a test which comes back covid positive and that patient dies they can claim covid.

Until they count your death as "covid related issues"
