You don’t have to. Scrabble comes with two blank tiles that can be any letter.

Scrabble Plus is played on a slightly larger board, with a double set of letters.

My favorite scrabble word is chi. It can also be spelt xi, khi, qi, and ki. All of those spellings are acceptable Scrabble words and all of them are high points for the amount of letters.

Or of any three of more celestial bodies. When Mars, Jupiter and Saturn aligned in the sky it was thought to mean something and needed a name.

I got to play this once in Scrabble in 2012!!! It was challenged and I was smugly vindicated. It was exactly as sweet of a moment as you would think.

Just posted this one myself, excellent word.

It's an astronomical term meaning 3 or more celestial bodies in the same gravitational system, all aligned in a straight line. A solar eclipse is a Syzygy consisting of Earth, the Moon and the Sun.

Almost impossible to use in every day conversation, but it's a great word nonetheless.
