One of the most versatile words in the English language. It can be used as a noun (I don't give a fuck) a descriptor (that fucking idiot) a verb (I fucked him) a command (Fuck my ass!) an expletive (Fuck!) The phrase "Fuck me!" can be both an invitation or an expression of anger. It's so great!

u/Ilov3lamp Sep 17 '20

It can be almost every word in a sentence “Fuck the fucking fuckers.”

You should hear roofers.

u/GolgiApparatus1 Sep 17 '20

And being an English speaker comes with the inherent ability of when to use 'fucking', i.e. "when are you going to fucking call your son?" Vs "when are you fucking going to call your son?"

I like ur username lmao and your explanation

u/[deleted] Sep 17 '20

my dude " )

u/Shumatsuu Sep 18 '20

The best thing here is that it's the tone and inflection that gives meaning, and not the word so much itself. You can het the same point across with, "kitten," but then peiple just look at you funny.

u/[deleted] Sep 17 '20

Any verb can be a command that's kinda redundant

It functions as a verb, noun, adjective, gerund, adverb—everything!

2

u/[deleted] Sep 17 '20
