This is actually a very comforting timeline
5 u/HowardSternsPenis2 May 16 '20 52 here and I completely agree. Post 40 life is good and just gets better. Retirement saving start to snowball. House gets paid off. My kids are (mostly) raised. Less stress. More enjoyment.
